It has been around 1 year and 4 months since Pam's heart transplant. The first year was great. The last couple months Pam has not been doing very good. She is 52 years old and going through hot flashes, that time of life for her. And her hormones are changing. Her head hurts all the time and she is confused about all that is going on with her. She takes 31 pills a day because of her heart transplant. Now she takes hormone pills and another pill to help her relax. Last night she did not even sleep at all "again".
I think once she gets use to her new medicine she will do a lot better. Heart transplant doctors are not worried about this, like no big deal, but Pam is a little worried. I listened to her heart yesterday for the first time in months and "wow" it is beating on all cylinders, does not miss a beat. Her blood pressure is perfect.
I am planning on having her around another 20 years. And if she takes care of her heart that seems to be the going time frame. Kavin and I are doing great.
